Reading Rainbow selections, the Children's Choice Award,
Children's Book Council and the
Minnesota Children's Museum Great Friends to
Kids Award along with others.
Nancy believes that life should be
fun for everyone especially
for children. Her characters aren't always perfect. They often
have
fears, anxieties, and disabilities. Through her books, kids learn to cope
with different challenges. They can learn that they don't have
to be
perfect to be a good person.

Kevin is the Author/ Illustrator of
I’m the Biggest Thing in the
Ocean and Acorns Everywhere.
Kevin’s illustrations are refreshingly uncluttered, with colorful shapes
rendered in watercolor, cut paper
and ink, making it easy for young
children to follow the story.
Kevin, along with his partner, Jean-Baptiste Regnard, started a
company called Squidfire. Squidfire offers clothing and accessories for
all ages but mainly with the interest of the young adults.
